Outlaw Grips is a highly personalized company that operates with the philosophies of the “Old West”; honesty, integrity, commitment to excellence, and ownership of the product quality. Quality speaks for itself and that is what has made Outlaw Grips recognized as one of the finest grip makers in the country. I service customers in Australia, Canada, England, Newfoundland, and the United States. This is not a hobby or something I do part time. It is what I do for a living. I start at 7am and work ‘till 5pm five days a week. I service 300 to 400 guns a year. My turn around is normally 8-9 weeks. Some custom gold or silver work can take three to four months. Please don’t ask if I can get it done any sooner. I don’t rush any job. My business is not about quantity, it is about quality. Quality should not be just lip service. It should be what you get from a product you spend hard earned money on. Quality is what I deliver. I don’t use CNC machines to cut blanks or shape grips. Every grip frame is different. Sometimes both sides of a grip frame are different. CNC machines can’t match fine hand craftsmanship. Ask Les Baer about that one. There are many grip makers out there making grips that fit “pretty good”. From grips to action work, my customers know that Outlaw Grips is not about “pretty good”. You will not find finer grips made anywhere and my action work is second to none You won’t find damaged screws or scratches on your gun when it is returned. All surfaces in the shop are padded and I take the utmost care when working on your prized possessions. Everyone always looks at their gun closer after having custom work done. You might now notice a small blemish they didn’t before. If there are any marks or blemishes to the finish or screws, I take macro digital pictures of the gun the day I receive it. These are e-mailed to you the same day. Outlaw Grips does not bend or grind your factory springs when performing action work. Bending and grinding springs ruins the molecular structure and will cause premature failure, not to mention inconsistent “spring rate”. New, quality manufactured springs are installed as well as careful machining, honing and polishing of the internal parts. Some springs are custom made by me. Outlaw Grips also makes one-of-kind silver and gold designs for grip accents. In keeping with my philosophy of quality, all of the silver and gold designs are made in house. Designs are hand cut or cast using the lost wax process. See the Silversmith page for more information. Whether you are a collector, occasional shooter or competitive shooter, from quality action work to exquisite custom grips, your guns will shoot, look and feel better than they ever have before. You have my promise on that. Don’t forget to take a look at the links page for some truly outstanding services and people.
I do not ship grips to customers. In order to provide you with the highest level of custom work, I will need your gun. It is legal to ship me your gun as I maintain a Class 1 FFL. |
